My very first Jodi Picoult book. It made me think, it challenged me & everything i believed in.

"In nineteen minutes, you can mow the front lawn; color your hair; watch a third of a hockey game. In nineteen minutes, you can bake scones or get a tooth filled by a dentist; you can fold laundry for a family of five. In nineteen minutes, you can stop the world; or you can just jump off it." ++ Jodi Picoult, nineteen minutes.

"Shooting stars are not stars at all. They're just rocks that enter the atmosphere and catch fire under friction. What we wish on when we see one is only a trail of debris." ++ Jodi Picoult, My sister's keeper.

"When you love someone, you say their name different. Like it's safe inside your mouth." ++ Jodi Picoult, handle with care.

"When heaven breaks, who fixes it?" ++ Jodi Picoult, keeping faith.

"That one day you will look around and find out that you've been alone for years." ++ Jodi Picoult, plain truth.

If you gave someone your heart and they died, did they take it with them? Do you spend the rest of forever with a hole inside you that can't be filled?

Sometimes people run away just to see who follows. Sometimes you let go just to see who will hold on.

No, i'm not emo -.- just that being with you is as emotionally draining as reading a Jodi Picoult novel.
